Loving this role - Strategist & Copywriter, or maybe you’re a Copywriter with a Strategic mind, experience working with design & brands, helping to illuminate them. They are looking for someone who will champion the role of ‘language’ in the studio. Pairing clear communication, being able to add a little mischief into this, but having the ability to also effect change, influence through words.
We are working with an independent design agency, there are 15 of them, all under one gorgeous studio roof in the heart of Southwark, London. They have a seriously cool space, with roof gardens, bar, restaurant, lots of co-working break out areas and meeting rooms too.
As their new Strategist & Copywriter, you’ll be involved in research, distilling insights into creative, strategic thinking, helping to shape narratives that inspire big brand ideas. And to generate compelling brand strategies.
Your use of language is key - this agency helps to build and shape brands that ultimately change the way people connect to the environments around them. They create destination brands, environments of the future, shaping the way we live, play and work. It’s hugely influential, very ‘now’, very topical and it’s all about shaping the experience that we as consumers want to have, and how we want to enjoy our lives. Luxury & premium brands are at the heart of this agency.
You’ll work closely with the creative director to write & deliver strategic pitches, delve deep into a brief and a brand to really understand the challenges. You’ll define and develop strategic positioning to get to the heart and DNA of a brand. Pen creative copy that inspires, makes people smile and excites in equal measure. This could be from social media captions, to campaigns, to detailed brand guidelines. Developing tone of voice, messaging, getting involved in ‘naming’.
And finally, you’ll love to craft persuasive, enlightening thought piece articles for their own blogs, business development pitches, online trade press and so on. This agency is known for their quirks and their articles are loved by many because they do inspire and make you smile.
